Embrace the Grace (or ETG) is the largest Catholic conference for youth and young adults in WA. Organised by the Respect Life Office, and held in New Norcia annually, ETG asks you, “who do I want to be and where does Jesus fit into the picture?”
Through engaging speakers, prayer, sports, fun, music and drama we open up topics like: What is grace? Can the Catholic faith withstand the challenges and questions of our life and faith? And what is the importance of the heart in ethics and theology?
The theme for this ETG comes from John Paul II’s Encyclical The Gospel of Life – “Even in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, every person sincerely open to truth and goodness can, by the light of reason and the hidden action of grace, come to recognise in the natural law written in the heart, the sacred value of human life…”
With an emphasis on exploring Grace and Life our speakers include: Jonathan Doyle, Anna Krohn, Paul Kelly, Rev. Fr Giles Joseph Mary Atherton and Rev Fr Hong Pham.
