Join us for the Young Adults Bishops Catechesis in the Year of Youth!
Archbishop Costelloe SDB and Bishop Sproxton will be speaking around the diocese to engage young adults in dialogue around various topics of the Catholic Faith.
The sessions will involve a 30min teaching from the Bishop and some time afterwards to dialogue with the Bishops around the topics.
Sessions will also include some music and prayer too.
At World Youth Day gatherings, the Bishops Catechesis features daily throughout the week and is often a highlight with young people who don’t regularly have the opportunity to hear from Bishops around the world. In this year of youth, we are hosting these Bishops Catechesis sessions to be part of our support for the faith life of young adults locally.
You, the young people are part of the Church in today’s world. As part of the initiative for the Year of Youth, the Apostles of today’s world, the Bishops, call all the young people to come together and be informed about the teachings of Christ. Young people are called to open their hearts to the spiritual transformation given by the Holy Spirit, and be a witness of Christ. From there we are called to be on mission, in being the salt of the earth and light to the world.
