Last 24th of October, over 40 teens from parishes in the Southern Region gathered for the Stronger Teens Rally. The third and last stronger rally for 2014 was hosted and coordinated by Armadale Parish.

The theme of the evening was focused on the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and its effect on our lives and how we can use these gifts on the daily basis. The talk was given by CYM full time youth minister, Vincent Haber. An uplifting and thought provoking testimony was also given by a local Youth leader, Jacqui Keogh. She challenged the young people to make use of these gifts and to pray to the Holy Spirit.

The evening had great and energetic music provided by the youth leaders of Armadale. Games and icebreakers were also coordinated by the young leaders of the Parish. Parent coordinators also got involved and organised a fun and engaging activity, were the participants got into groups and were allocated a Gift of the Holy Spirit to which they had to come up with a promotional campaign through a poster or a skit. The teens and the all those present were treated to some creative and humorous presentations.

Like any other amazing youth rallies, the evening ended with a prayer plus the famous Jesus Chant and a delicious meal of roast beef rolls.

A massive thank you to all that have given their time and talents in making the event a massive success, especially the parents and youth leaders of Armadale Parish. Special mention to Aura Becerra (Bateman Youth Leader) for MCing, and the following youth leaders for their assistance, Kim Hodgson (Bateman Parish), Mark Taylor (Myaree Parish) and Theresa Beard (Thornlie Parish).
