St Josephs Subiaco Youth

Most recent events for St Joseph’s Subiaco Youth

Dear friends of Perth,

St Joseph’s Subiaco youth recently held a Q & A titled, “Bad news, Good news.” The presenters for this evening were, 7 news presenter, Rick Ardon, and Perth Archdiocesan Media and Communications manager, James Parker. This event was an opportunity for our youth to put forward questions to the presenters, asking about their faith, their motivations/inspirations, and how they came to this point in their journey. The night was a success, and gave all present, new insights into their faith development and inspiration for the path to come.

St Joseph’s Subiaco youth are currently working towards the parish Carols on the Piazza evening, which will be held on, 15th December, outside, St Joseph’s Subiaco Church. This event has always been a success; including the Church choir singing Carols, shared BBQ/Desserts, and a visit from Santa Clause. The event has been known to host for 500 parishioners and friends.

Other things to look out for

Our St Josephs Subiaco Youth band meet up every Sunday at 5pm to practice for our 6pm Youth Mass. This is a nice time for any youth around Perth to come along and have some time to reflect/open their hearts to God, while listening to the beautiful music and sung prayers of the youth band.

Fr Joseph Walsh likes to remind all our parishioners and friends, that “all are welcome at St Joseph’s parish.” Welcoming new people to our Mass celebration is something that our parish does very well.

Thank you for taking the time to read this brief insight into our parish. You are always welcome at St Joseph’s Subiaco!

God bless,

Paul Curtis and the youth team at St Joseph’s Subiaco.
