VOLUNTEER WITH US
These events simply can’t exist without you. We have incredible volunteers from all different kinds of backgrounds and experiences, who bring all their strengths (and weaknesses!) together to make a powerful place of belonging and service.
Depending on the event and volunteer team requirements, you may be invited by a CYM staff member to join the team for an event, or there may be an open invitation for anyone to apply!
We know that God has given you a unique combination of skills and passions, and we’re so keen to find out what those are and put you into a role where you will flourish. For events, roles vary but the core volunteer roles usually fit into these categories:

There’s no one overall answer to this question! Some roles require experience, and others roles require someone who is simply willing to serve.
Yes, to volunteer with us you will need a current Working With Children Card, which you will submit a copy of to us prior to the event. This is for the safety of all young people as well as volunteers.
