Christ the King Youth Festival
CHRIST THE KING YOUTH FESTIVAL

Join us at St Mary’s Cathedral for Christ the King Youth Festival and the official archdiocesan launch of our journey to World Youth Day Seoul 2027! This annual diocesan celebration is a chance for our community to come together in faith and friendship. Inspired by Pope St John Paul II, World Youth Day brings young people from across the globe together to encounter Christ, celebrate our faith and share in the joy of being part of the Church together. The night begins with a Youth Mass, followed by a vibrant Youth Festival on the Cathedral grounds, with something for everyone to enjoy and the best part - It’s completely FREE!

WYD SEOUL 2027
WORLD YOUTH DAY - SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA

World Youth Day (WYD) 2027 will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from August 3–8, 2027, marking the first time the global Catholic festival is hosted in Asia since 1995. Pope Leo XIV will lead the event, which features a “Days in the Dioceses” program (July 29–Aug 2) followed by main events in Seoul, including a Youth Festival and the Closing Mass. CYM will be coordinating groups for the Archdiocese of Perth. Register your interest today!

Common Ground
COMMON GROUND - YOUNG ADULTS

Common Ground is a weekly young adults gathering held at the Catholic Pastoral Centre in Highgate. It’s a welcoming space to connect, build genuine friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging. Through social gatherings, talks presented by guest speakers, honest conversations, prayer, and reflection, young adults are encouraged to grow in faith together, support one another, and explore what it means to live their faith with purpose.
